Hi I'm Zharina, a junior college student at a reputable university in the Philippines. I am taking up education and major in Math.
Well, I would like to share something, after one of my professional subjects the other day, a question popped into my mind. I am soon to become a teacher myself, and right now in college, I find it very tough to be motivated and listen to my teachers. At times, I doze off not realizing that it is happening already.
The point is, some of us students take things for granted because we get bored and really are not interested in what is being taught to us. Wondering what we are supposed to do with these things we learn and where we can use them.
Now here is the question that popped into my mind, as a soon to be teacher, how am I supposed to motivate my students and not get them bored in my class? Considering that Math classes are in the morning.
I though of presenting short films or documentaries, games and the likes, but what other alternatives could there be? Suggestions and comments are very much welcome. Thank you.
